Parenting a child with mental health needs requires great patience, presence, and resilience — and caring for yourself is an essential part of that journey. Our Gentle Yoga Group for Conscious Parents offers a virtual space with you in mind. The goal is simple yet powerful: to help you relax, restore your energy, and create meaningful time for self-care.
No prior yoga experience is needed, and no equipment is required

What to Expect From This Group
Each weekly 90-minute session includes:
🧘♂️ Therapeutic Movement for Restoration
Gentle, yoga-based movements to release tension
Stretching and somatic movement for connection and calm
Encouragement to increased body awareness and reduce dissociation
🧠 Mindfulness practices for emotion regulation
Breath work and grounding techniques
Sensory awareness to calm the nervous system
Trauma-informed meditation practices
✨ reConnection with yourself & Fellow Parents
Optional group discussions at the end of each session to facilitate connection
Self-compassion, reflection, and peer sharing
Encouraging community building and emotional resilience
This group is perfect for parents who:
Struggle with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or burnout
Prefer experiential or body-based therapy to traditional talk therapy
Want to build confidence, connection, and regulation skills
Need a calm, creative, and structured space to recharge

Meret is a clinical psychology practicum student, licensed yoga teacher, and certified intuitive eating counselor who uses a mix of mindfulness practices, connection, and practical body-based tools to support clients’ wellness.
