Little Language Lab

A Parent + Toddler Play & Communication Group for ages 1-3 years old

As a parent, it’s natural to wonder whether your toddler is developing speech and communication skills at the “right” pace. Every child develops differently, and communication can look many different ways—through words, sounds, gestures, signs, facial expressions, and more. Supporting communication early can help toddlers build connection, confidence, and the skills they need to express themselves and engage with the people around them.

Our Farmington Hills-based Little Language Lab: A Parent + Toddler Play & Communication Group is designed to give parents and caregivers practical, play-based tools for supporting their toddler’s communication in everyday moments. Through interactive play and live coaching from a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), caregivers will learn how to follow their child’s lead, build engagement and back-and-forth interaction, and model language without added pressure. Explore strategies for supporting all forms of communication while gaining practical skills that can be carried into all aspects of daily life.
