Sarah Raleigh Kilts, LLMSW

LIMITED LICENSED Master SOCIAL WORKER

Ann Arbor & Virtual‍

With over 15 years of experience working alongside children and families, I bring a deep passion for supporting people of all ages — from the littlest ones to adolescents, teens, and adults. My background weaves together infant and early childhood mental health, early childhood education, and music and movement. I seek to understand children and families from many angles, and approach each person as a whole.

I offer therapy for young children, older kids, teens, adults, and families using play, expressive arts, and other creative approaches that feel natural and comfortable. I also work closely with providers and caregivers to make sure children are supported in every part of their world.

At the heart of my practice is a genuine commitment to care that is trauma-informed, honors each person's unique brain and nervous system, and centers equity and belonging for every individual and family.

  • I love supporting people of all ages — from babies to grown-ups! My background brings together a love of play, music, movement, and understanding how kids grow and feel.

In our time together, we might play, make music, move our bodies, or just talk — whatever feels right for you! I work with little ones, big kids, teens, adults, and families. I also team up with the caring grown-ups in children's lives to help them feel safe and supported everywhere they go.

I truly believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, valued, and understood — no matter who they are, what they are struggling with, or where they come from. I can't wait to meet you!

Get to know Sarah

  • I see you and accept you just as you are — you're safe with me.

  • I love making music! The power of music goes far beyond the performative and perfectionistic aspects we often associate with it. I have lived experience as a singer, musician, music teacher, and music researcher. All human beings across the lifespan have the potential to be music makers (really — I promise!), and music co-created within community can connect and heal.

    • I have 4 kitty cats!

    • I have lived and studied in Kenya, Uganda, India, Nepal, Tibet and Canada!
