Odia Sylla
Occupational Therapy Intake Coordinator
Ann Arbor & Virtual
Hi, I’m Odia, and I’m truly excited to be part of the Mala Child & Family Institute as an Intake Coordinator. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Healthcare Administration, building on my passion for supporting individuals and families in their healthcare journeys.
Helping others has always been a core value in my life, and I’m glad I get to live out that value every day at Mala. I’m proud to be part of a team that leads with heart and is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
I have served as the first point of contact for patients seeking care—handling communication, scheduling, and connecting them with the right support—while ensuring a smooth transition from the moment they first reach out to the time they meet with a provider. My background spans a variety of healthcare settings, where I have provided administrative support to clinicians and managed clinical intakes. These experiences have deepened my empathy and understanding for those navigating the process of finding the right support.
In my current role, I strive to ensure that every client feels supported, respected, and heard throughout the intake process.
