Beginning therapy can feel like a big step whether you’re a child, teenager, or adult as it often comes with both hope and uncertainty of the entire process. You might be navigating feelings of anxiety or depression, adjusting to a life transition, or exploring questions of identity and self-understanding. Whatever brings you to therapy, I aim to offer a space where you can feel supported, understood, and free to grow at your own pace.
My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational perspectives, while also drawing from other methods like cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) when helpful. This allows me to adapt our work to your unique needs, whether that means looking closely at long-standing patterns, making sense of difficult emotions, or developing tools to meet challenges in the present.
I am both a psychotherapist at Mala Child & Family Institute’s Ann Arbor clinic and a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Detroit Mercy. I have experience and interest in working with children, adolescents, and adults for an array of reasons that may lead to them seeking help. Namely, I am particularly passionate about supporting all my clients through navigating life transitions, whether that's starting a new job, adjusting to school, or whatever it may be that often brings forth both challenges and opportunities for growth.
Importantly, I see therapy as a collaborative process. I bring curiosity, warmth, and respect for your experiences, and I believe that real change emerges when we work together to better understand both the challenges you face and the strengths you carry. Above all, I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, supportive, and meaningful.
If you’re considering starting therapy, I’d be glad to connect and discuss how we might work together toward the goals that matter most to you.
