Jess Duffy

Office & Community Outreach Manager

Plymouth

Hi, I’m Jess Duffy, and I am the Office and Community Outreach Manager at Mala Child and Family Institute. My journey into supporting families began through movement and mindfulness. I’m a Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructor, Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator, and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. My passion has always been to help women tap into their inner strength and self-awareness through intentional movement, meditation, education, and connection.

I currently teach prenatal yoga and yoga for neurodivergent students who identify as autistic at the PARC Building and lead community hatha yoga classes at Schoolcraft College. I’m also beginning a new chapter in my professional growth as a Somatic Therapy trainee through the Levin Institute for Expressive Movement.

Being part of Mala feels deeply aligned with my values, especially the commitment to trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and culturally sensitive care. As someone who believes in whole-person wellness and the power of safe, inclusive community spaces, I’m honored to support this mission. My goal at Mala is to help strengthen the bridge between the clinic and the community, making sure families feel seen, welcomed, and connected. I’m passionate about creating meaningful, accessible experiences that nurture both individual healing and collective belonging.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two energetic boys and an outdoor cat named Gaia. I find joy in live music, bonfires, traveling, and sharing meaningful conversations over a warm cup of coffee or tea. I’m so grateful to be here and to grow alongside this incredible team and the families we serve.
