Ellie Jackson, BS

Intake Coordinator

Farmington Hills & Virtual‍

“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous first step.”

I’m Ellie, and I’m excited to be part of the Mala Child & Family Institute as an Intake Coordinator. I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a minor in Holistic Health. I am passionate about helping those of all ages, creating a safe space for all receiving care, and making sure every individual and family feels heard, respected, and supported.

In my role, I aspire to always be a compassionate first point of contact for those beginning care. I strive to create a safe space where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their needs, and taking the next step in their journey!

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and could always use a few book recommendations, trying new coffee shops, hiking, going to the gym, photography, and traveling with my partner, especially to Vermont in the fall. I’m grateful to be part of a team that is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives!
