Brooklynn Wilton, LLMSW
Clinical Social Worker
Farmington Hills & Online
Hi, I’m Brooklynn (she/her), and I’m so glad you’re here.
As a therapist, my first priority is making sure every person I work with feels safe, seen, and truly heard. I know how much courage it takes to ask for help, and I want you to feel like you’re not doing this alone. My clients often tell me they feel genuinely cared for in our work together, because I do care. I am deeply committed to your growth and healing, and I do my very best to walk alongside you with warmth, consistency, and compassion.
I work with toddlers, children, teens, and adults, as well as families and groups. I specialize in supporting people navigating neurodivergence, trauma, school or behavioral challenges, parenting stress, addiction, chronic illness, and more. I also provide support for anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and identity exploration, especially in women and young people trying to find their voice in complex systems.
In our work, I use a mix of evidence-based and creative approaches like play therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-focused care, mindfulness, and somatic work. My promise to you is that I will always tailor your care to what you need. I’m trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and offer support that’s neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in a strengths-based, person-centered lens. I'm also intermediate in American Sign Language (ASL) and continue to seek training to better serve diverse families.
One of the things that makes my work different is my systems-based approach. I don’t just meet with a child or individual and leave it at that. I’ll often reach out to teachers, pediatricians, grandparents, partners, occupational therapists, or others in your support system (with your consent) to ensure care is collaborative and connected. Healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum. I believe real change takes root when we work together across the spaces that matter to the client.
I’m also someone who values reliability, communication, and lifelong learning. I take pride in being organized, prepared, and intentional in our work. At the same time, I’m always asking myself: How can I grow? How can I show up better for you? I seek ongoing training and feedback because you deserve a provider who’s not just licensed, but fully present and evolving alongside you.
Whether we’re playing on the floor in a therapy room, diving into deep reflection in a teen or adult session, or helping parents reconnect with their children, my goal is the same: to build a relationship that is real, restorative, and rooted in trust.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will truly be in your corner, someone who listens, advocates, collaborates, and cares, I’d be honored to meet you.

I decided to be a mental health professional because I admired how those in this field were able to make huge impact in communities and in individuals lives. I enjoy working with people, I have a passion for social justice, and a heart for enacting change. I knew that I would be able to help others and that this career would make an impact on me as well.
-
What I love about therapy and mental health care would be how they impact the trajectory of a person's life.
-
I aim to create a space that feels open, inviting, non-judgmental, and safe. This looks different for everyone, for children in particular I like to integrate play into sessions, to make the session feel as natural and comfortable as possible.
-
A message I would send to young clients would be that you are not alone!
-
I am passionate about mental health care, and removing the stigma around it.
-
My favorite part about my job is that I get to help others on a daily basis, that will never get old.
-
My ultimate wish for every client is that they feel safe in the office and want to come back.
