You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or as if you're carrying the weight of past experiences that you haven’t fully healed from —and unsure of how to break free. Maybe you're constantly second-guessing yourself or noticing patterns you can't seem to change. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and therapy can help. I work with adults and teens struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, chronic stress, and the emotional residue of trauma—whether stemming from past relationships and experiences, or patterns that once helped you survive but no longer serve you. My goal is to meet you with warmth, care, and a deep respect for your story, at your own pace.
With clinical training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care—my approach is integrative, eclectic, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll explore your personal history and patterns of navigating the world, and work to challenge your negative thinking patterns and uncover their roots.
I appreciate the complexities of therapy and how challenging this work can be. I bring enthusiasm to each session and take pride in my individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approaches to care. No two individuals are alike, and I believe that therapy should be approached with this in mind. I value the importance of providing a safe, warm, and empathetic environment to establish a secure therapeutic relationship with each of my clients, as this lies at the forefront of my work. My aim is to provide a space that allows you to freely explore whatever may be on your mind with guidance in identifying patterns in your ways of thinking and navigating the world.
If you're ready to begin your therapy journey or would like more information to see if this is the right fit for you, feel free to contact me at a.fraser@malafamily.org. I look forward to supporting you on your path to healing and self-discovery.

I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to become the greatest version of themselves, no matter the cards they are dealt. I chose to dedicate myself to the field of psychology as I want to be a force in helping others to heal and understand themselves on a deeper level, while also working to break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
-
I love that therapy offers the opportunity for individuals to explore themselves in a way that no other space really offers. I enjoy being able to work collaboratively with my clients to foster growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Every individual is different, and I am honored to be able to provide a space where others can share their stories while feeling heard, accepted, and understood.

I take an eclectic approach to therapy, grounded in a psychodynamic foundation. Sessions with me are typically unstructured, allowing you to guide the focus based on what feels most important to explore. Together, we'll explore both your current and past experiences, identifying patterns that may be contributing to your current challenges. The therapy room is your space to get to know yourself on a deeper level, and I am here to help guide that experience while offering a sense of connection, empathy, and safety.

I want you to know that you have the ability to reach your highest potential and that no dream is too big. I am not here to judge you, your feelings, or your experiences. I am here to help you navigate the challenges that may come your way, and to learn more about yourself in the process. I hope that by working with me you feel safe, secure, and understood.

I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma and/or adverse life experiences and allowing them to process the difficult emotions that may come with that. I also hope to have an impact on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and going to therapy. We are all human, and it is always okay to ask for help.
